April 15, 2005:

Tax Day is one of my favorite days in the city.

People procrastinate, so they swarm the Main Post Office late into the night. It makes for good TV, so the news cameras are all out there. And whenever you get more then 1 news camera, you get protesters. And when you get protesters, you get people, so you get companies giving away free stuff. And when you get companies giving away free stuff, you'll find me.

Nedick's was in full force, giving away yummy hotdogs (go buy some at 31st btw 8th & 9th Ave or next to the Gap on B'way btw 34th and 33rd) and pens.
Staples set up a free copy center tent (go make some copies at your local Staples, it's cheaper then Kinko's).
Mitchum body deoderant was giving away free samples, and their spokesman, Mitchum Man (third from bottom) was hilarious with the random one liners. I wouldn't be at all suprised to see him on TV in a few short months.
And finally, it wouldn't be complete without an appearance by Jews For Jesus.

Now, if Blogger would STOP EATING MY GODDAMN POSTS, I'm off to free Ben and Jerry's ice cream.
(Fucking stupid Blogger, if I miss this, Google owes me a free ice-cream. Goddamn Blogger. Seriously, if you haven't already started a blog yet, DON'T USE BLOGGER!)
