Hey Hot Shot!

I was chilling briefly at the Jen Bekman gallery tonight. The blog proper will have more on that. But if you saw me there, you'd have noticed that I didn't focus too much on the people that were there. There are reasons for that.
First of all, it's all being done by everybody else, and I have a compulsive need to be completely different in everything, which of course makes me very unpopulor and obscure. *shrug*
Then there's my whole fear of taking people's photos, mostly based on the fact that I don't like my photo being taken (because I'm hideously ugly). Now that I'm a photobug, I don't mind at all (I'll even pose however way you want if you ask me nicely), but I am hesitant to take other people's pics.
Plus there's the whole model release form and all that other legal mumbo jumbo, of which I understand none.
And when I bring the big bad boy up to my face, it seems that people notice right away and I lose the magic moment of the shot.
Oh, and it's also really hard work.
So I leave it to the professionals, like the blurry Youngna, and instead take abstract pictures of stupid stuff, like the pin numbers.
